Which means, we currently have fully stocked meat cabinets in both our Havelock North and Waipawa butchery shops.
We are operating a 2 in 2 out policy, your mask is a must, scanning is a given and the hand sanitiser is located inside and out.
PayWave is fully operational so you don’t touch a thing.
OR you can order ONLINE for delivery to any town or city in NZ and if in Hawke’s Bay you can choose to CLICK n COLLECT.

Waipawa Butchery is looking for an enthusiastic Butcher and Butcher’s Apprentice to work in their busy butchery shops in sunny Hawke’s Bay.
We are an Essential Service and can work at all levels of lockdown.
We are seeking reliable and motivated people to work within our friendly team across two shop locations in Waipawa and Havelock North.
The applicant will need to be able to:
- Work within a team environment
- Have experience in the meat industry OR a desire to learn and work within a butchery team
- Be honest & reliable
- Comply with Health & Safety and Food Safety programmes.
Waipawa Butcheries beef and lamb is supplied from their farms, a true paddock to plate business, using full carcass breakdown with old school butchery techniques in a low-key busy friendly environment in the warm Hawke’s Bay.

Please Note: We are delivering all our Hawke’s Bay boxes so you will see one of our branded up WB chiller vans at your gate from early morning till late at night. If your box is heading out of Hawke’s Bay it may take longer in these COVID times as we are reliant on New Zealand’s courier network. We use two big frozen icepacks – we know they are good for up to four days.
