It’s always a hive of activity on the farm. 🐝
Now that the 2024 cropping season is over, we’ve been moving on to clearing and turning over the land, with plenty of new grass now sown. It’s been extremely dry of late in Central Hawke’s Bay, so the few sprinkles of rain we received over the weekend were hugely appreciated, as every bit helps.
We have three Arataki honey sites on the farm, which are a great addition to help the pollination of all our clover – which contributes to all that runny golden honey we all love so much. 🍯
