Patangata Station is in the unique position that it owns the local butcher shop – Waipawa Butchery is located 15kms away from The Station, all of the stations top quality beef and lamb sold in the Butchery comes from exclusively from Patangata Station.

Online Shop FAQ’s

Q – Do you ship to the South Island?

Yes, we can deliver throughout New Zealand, including the South Island, however, with the current overloading of courier services please contact us directly via email for our ability to ship to the South Island and shipping costs.

Q – Can you deliver to a rural address?

Unfortunately due to overloading of the rural delivery system with other online orders, we have been advised by the courier company that RD outside Hawkes bay will take 4-5 days during COVID times. Due to the fresh nature of our product we sadly have to cease all RD service for now.

 Q- How is my order packaged?

All of our delivery boxes are re-usable and include frozen thermoguard ice packs to ensure absolute freshness, so will be good for up to three days.

Q – How is my package delivered?

This is a completely contactless process for all involved, in line with current Level 4 restrictions.

Q – What if I’m an essential worker and can’t be home for delivery?

When you make an order via the website, there is an option to leave special instructions in the notes area, so we know exactly where to drop off your order.

Q – Why can’t I proceed to payment?

When filling in your delivery details, please use the correct postcode – if this does not match up with the address you have provided, or you have not filled in the box at all; you will not be able to proceed with your order.

Q – What if  I have not received an order confirmation email?

Our order confirmation emails are sent from the Waipawa Butchery website immediately after your payment has been confirmed and your order has been processed.

If you have not received an order verification email from us please check your ‘Spam’  folder within your email for the order confirmation, and approve our email address for future order notifications.
If your confirmation of order is not in your spam folder, please check your email account security settings – as emails come from our website and this email may have been blocked by the security settings in your email account.
